Money and friends
It was my late loving uncle who gave me an advise on money that I have
never forgotten. He advised me "not to borrow or lend money" Then, I had
just began my first job therefore his advise did not make sense. Over
the years, I have found his advise the best that was ever given to me.
How so? Here is what I have learned of this commodity called money.
1.Money and friendship or family don't go along. They are enemies
2.Its easy to borrow than to return. Many people love this
3.Relationships have been broken due to money
4.Many have committed all kinds of crimes due to money
5.Before you give any one any of your hard earned cash, make sure that its well documented
In a nutshell, to save yourself too much headache, if possible, avoid borrowing or lending money to those that you love. If you give money, give without expecting anything in return
If you gave and the borrower has refused to return the money, then there are so many options that you can take. Like?
1.Talk to the person and ask him or her to return your money. Come up with repayment plan
2.Seek the help of family friends or close friends
3.Do a critical evaluation to find out if the money spent in trying to get your money back is more than what's owed
4.Seek professional advise or that of debt collectors
5.Know the consequences of pursuing legal advise
6.Pray for those who have deprived you
