An interesting sign in the men bath room
There are signs that you see at certain areas and your mind goes "Wow!". Why wow? You see the thinking here is that at
a certain age and people having been to school and exposed to a different way of thinking, should I call it a civilized way of looking at issues, they are expected to behave mature and responsible. Unfortunately, that is not the case.More please.
In this particular men bathroom, I saw this sign above the urinal area. "Be nice to others please. Flush after use" Well, should anyone be reminded to flush after use? Is that not common sense? Just think about that But guess what? Such are the small things that cause too much fighting and misunderstanding among people. No, it makes some people mad and angry. Here are other examples:
1.People use the toilet and ignore to flush
2.People eat and dump or pile the plates into the sink
3.People use a rental facility and leave a real mess behind them.
4.Someone borrows your car clean and with the tank full of gas but brings it back very dirty and with an empty tank
This reminds me of another sign that I saw posted in the kitchen of the church building that we were renting to use for services. It read, "clean after your mess. Your mother does not live here." Sounds rather rude but goes to show that whoever posted that sign was just fed up with the the condition of the kitchen after use. Does it ring a bell?
All of us need to remember the following:
1.Make life easy for others by following basic rules
2.If you are told that what you are doing is affecting or annoying others, just let it go instead of being stubborn all the time
3.Do things that reflect maturity and a sense of understanding. Demonstrate that you are worthy the respect of others
4.Know when to make jokes and when to take things seriously. You can't be a joker all the time or can you?
Well, life is such that you treat others the same way that you want them to treat you. That was the Golden Rule as taught by Jesus Himself in Matthew 7:12
Have a considerate day. Will you?
